Stop looking at others. Why envy others for being rich, beautiful, intelligent, capable or successful? Look at yourself and start to marvel at all the wonderful things you have been blessed with.
It is common to overlook one's blessings as we tend to see things outside of ourselves. Our eyes are trained to see things at some distance from us. To examine ourselves, we need to engage our mind. Find a comfortable, preferably quiet place. Begin to list all the blessings in your life. It may seem difficult at first, but once you get started, the list can just go on and on.
Sometimes, it is only when we lose something that we start to treasure it and begin to realise how fortunate we have been all this while. Don't wait for things to happen to start realising. See the abundance surrounding you. Live in gratitude. Be grateful for what you already have and you will be blessed with more.
